We’ve got a half day in the office today (one last hurrah before going back to our regular 9-5 hours -- boooo!) and M. and I will be on our way to NC for one of his law school friend’s weddings and to spend time with my family!
I’m not going to lie, I’m pretty excited about going to the wedding…dressing up, dancing with my husband. It’s going to be so fun! Especially since I was so obsessed planning my own wedding it will be so fun to see another bride’s ideas and party decisions!
I am also so excited to spend time with my family! I can already sense some “girl time”
happening as my sister will also be home this weekend (her classes don’t start until next week!). Maybe even a little shopping?! I hope so! M. and I also have some gift cards from the wedding that we’re planning on using this weekend! I can’t wait.
Not to mention we’ll also be stopping for one of my absolute favorite things on the way home this afternoon…Chick-fil-a diet lemonade….not that the chicken sandwich there isn’t delicious (in fact, their new spicy chicken sandwich is one of my favorites!), but I'm looking forward to pulling through the drive-thru for a lemonade as an afternoon snack! Is it sad that I'm excited about this?! :)
