Our First DC Snow

M. and I knew that the weather here in DC would be different than what we are used to in the South, but we had no idea that we'd experience a small blizzard within only a few months of us moving here!!

The snow started Friday evening and didn't stop until late last night. We were pretty excited about the snow yesterday (& we were getting a little bit stir crazy) so we decided to venture out and explore just a little.

We got all bundled up (between the two of us I think we had on about 15 layers) & made our way out into the snowy weather. At this point (it was Saturday when we went out in the snow) it was still snowing pretty heavily and it was actually somewhat hard to walk around with the snow blowing smack in our faces!!

Our adventure didn't last long, but it sure was fun!! Our first DC snow!!!
