It's been such a busy week here in DC for me. I hate that I haven't been posting as much, so I am going to try to be better about it! A few things that M. & I did this past weekend...
- Thursday night we cooked our delicious pasta recipe inspired by our trip to Italy. It's a special way for us to spend time together while making a YUMMY meal!
- Friday I worked from home & M. worked on a little project he had to do. It was nice staying in for the day & working in my PJ's. We even made it to the gym together - again, wonderful bonding time! :)
-Saturday was a big F-O-O-T-B-A-L-L day! We ventured to the Tennessee alumni gathering at a local bar & grill to watch UT's first game of the season...& THEY WON! We relaxed, ate burgers & enjoyed the game...an overall fabulous afternoon. When the game ended we took a stroll past the White House.
- Sunday was spent shopping!! With our engagement photos coming up I wanted to check out a few of the fall collections (J.Crew, Anthropologie...). I found a few cute things, but wasn't overly impressed with the selection available - nothing really "WOWED" me.
- Labor day M. & I ventured to Baltimore, MD to visit one of my friends (& bridesmaids) Summer. She took us around some of the fun spots in the city & then we ate a delicious dinner - crab cakes were most definitely involved!!
