Good afternoon! I hope that everyone has been doing well! I had a CRAZY BUSY first week of work, so blogging just wasn't an option! I love my job though....so I don't really mind.
Over the weekend M.'s parents came for a quick visit to see the new place & enjoy some time in DC. I didn't have much time with them since I worked all day Saturday...
**Oh, right, I never did tell you exactly what I am doing for my job -- I am the Marketing/PR specialist - sales -- for a bridal boutique in the DC area! Super fun, but since it is a brida
l boutique I have work on Saturdays.**
...but we did have a chance to enjoy a meal -- the Cheesecake Factory -- delicious. On Sunday we ventured out to the National Archives and took a peek at The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. We also took a stroll through the park right behind the archives building -- I think it's the sculptural art garden or something like that. It had a beautiful fountain where M. & I stopped for a quick photo. The gardens also had some of the prettiest flowers. I loved this pink & orange bloom.
The weekend was fun, but now I am back to work & since I'm finished settling in to DC, the wedding planning is back on - full swing! I was on the phone with my mom for about 2 hours last night going through many of the details for the big wedding weekend, bridal showers, engagement party...etc. There is a lot to do, but I know we'll get it all done! We're now in the 9 months!!!
