When I was given a raise about a month ago I was also given a new project to manage at work. The employee who worked on this project before me did a really terrible job (according to my boss) and I had to start off by fixing all of this employee’s mistakes. Because of these crazy days at work I was getting home and immediately plopping down on the couch from the exhaustion of my day. In any case, I am back to normal now and made my first trip back to the treadmill yesterday during my lunch break. I need to take a picture so that you can see this ARCHAIC gym that we have in my office building. It’s insane how old the equipment is – there are only two treadmills in the room and yesterday I used one that doesn’t let you just run…you have to pick a pre-set workout. Today I chose the other treadmill and it was much better – this one has no pre-set workouts (thankfully!) – Instead it just lets you pick your speed and go, go, go! I needed to get back to it considering I will be scheduling my bridal portraits for April, I have a bridal shower on May 1st and the wedding will take place not too long thereafter!! I can’t wait!!
I purchased my veil yesterday from a very helpful bridal boutique in Florida. I decided to shop around a little bit (GASP!) because I didn’t want to just pay the first boutique I contacted – I wanted to make sure that I was getting a good price on it and not spending extra money where I didn’t have to. The first place I contacted was selling the veil for $402, the second place had it for $480 (HOLY MOLY!), one place refused to sell me the veil because I hadn’t purchased my dress there (Ok, fine by me….you would have been MAKING MONEY off of me, but oh well!) and the final boutique was selling the veil for $375 which included the shipping to my parent’s house in NC!! Needless to say I went for the $375! I am so excited to try it on with my dress again (I actually tried the veil on when I purchased my dress!) and wear it on my WEDDING DAY!
Tomorrow I am going to show off the FABULOUS videographer that we’ve hired for our special day! He is going to be such a joy to work with and I just cannot wait!!
Side note: Last night I made the most delicious sandwich – Turkey, Avocado, Tomato and Blue Cheese on grilled Italian bread. YUM! I am wishing I was eating that right now instead of my lunch of applesauce and rice cakes.
Have a happy Wednesday! :)
