Yesterday was just a "blah" day. After work I came home and worked out with M. as usual except I only ran 2.5 miles (at just below a sprint) and did very light weight lifting so that I would have time to get ready for dinner out. We wanted to go out for restaurant week (since there are only two every year in DC) and picked a pretty "safe" place, but it turned out that the food really wasn't all that special -- not bad by any means, just not special. After dinner we came home and picked up the apartment, I got all of my things ready to go for the weekend and we watched Real Housewives of Orange County (the ultimate in disgusting "reality" TV). I was excited because they were showing previews for the newest season of Real Housewives of NYC (which is my all time fav group!).I'm very excited today because our engagement party is tomorrow!!! I've gathered some pictures of the hairstyle I like to bring along to the hair stylist and M. drove me to work today so that we could leave for NC straight from my office. I cannot wait to see all of my bridesmaids (plus a few extra close friends) and family friends!!!
I am off work on Monday (like most people) so I will hopefully post with an update that afternoon!! I hope that everyone has an absolutely FABULOUS weekend! :)
