Rise & Shine for a future without breast cancer!

We all know that today is the first day of breast cancer awareness month and I will be bringing you lots of information and products this month from the various companies who are helping to raise awareness and find a cure for a disease that on average, 445 Canadian women will be diagnosed with this week. That means there is a really good chance that we will all be touched but it either directly or indirectly.

Procter & Gamble has partnered with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to support breast cancer research and celebrate the courageous breast cancer survivors who motivate and inspire us all to make a difference.

P&G is making it easy for consumers to help the cause, and look and feel their best - when you purchase:  Head & Shoulders, Gillette Venus, Secret, Crest, Always, Pantene Pro-V, Tampax, CoverGirl, Olay and Natural Instincts - you are helping to support a future without breast cancer.  These brands have made a $160,000 commitment to the effort.  You can help up that amount though, in addition to the 160K they will give the foundation an extra $1 for every Rise & Shine Facebook gift you send a friend (up to a maximum of $40,000).  Which means the contribution could rise as high as $200,000!
