Yesterday afternoon there was a GIANT rain/wind/lightening storm which caused many trees to fall and the power to go out at my office. We ended up leaving the office early, right as the storm let up (around 4:00) and then I got to sit in traffic for 2 hours while crews cleared a giant tree that had fell over the GW Parkway -- FUN!
I walked into my office this morning tried to turn on my work computer and got nothing....there's a possibility that it's down for good...which is really NOT good. If the tech guy can't get my computer to turn on I am going to have to try and recover SO MANY past documents....keep your fingers crossed that the tech guy can work his magic! I'm blogging from my laptop at the moment, but seeing as I didn't bring my power cord with me today this computer will only last me so long so this post is going to have to be short and sweet!
In other news...it's FRIDAY and we're closing the office at 3:30 today! Enjoy your weekend! :)
