• Spring is finally here and I could not be more excited!! I have started pulling out my “warm weather” clothing and getting my closet in order. I really need to start pulling out my spring/summer shoes too.• Today is “Free Cone Day” at Ben & Jerry’s…unfortunately I won’t be partaking, but just thinking about having a free cone of ice cream is exciting! :)
• I have kept up my workout plan – 4 mile runs everyday and when I get home from work I immediately pop in the Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred video. Lately I’ve been giving myself a day off on Saturday, but picking everything back up again on Sunday.
• My veil should be shipped to me this week! I can’t wait to try it on with my dress at my fitting this weekend! :)
• I’ve purchased/have many dresses that I can wear for the many important events coming up, but I haven’t yet decided which dress will go with which event – I have my bridal shower on May 1st, M.’s graduation from Law School, a pre-wedding brunch the day before the wedding, my bridal luncheon the day before the wedding, and our rehearsal dinner (actually, you know I’ve already chosen this one!). I think maybe I will finalize my decisions this weekend.
• Speaking of my rehearsal dinner dress – it was shipped to my parent’s home in NC and I’ll have a chance to finally try it on this weekend! :)
• Before leaving work on Friday I will have the inserts for the escort cards all printed, the label for our favors printed, our hand-drawn wedding map finished (I never did show you all this, but will when it is complete!), and a special little detail for M.’s grooms cake finished!
• Everybody Loves Raymond is seriously one of my newest favorite shows. Yes,
I realize that production on the show ended a while back, but I am just now really watching the episodes they play on TV Land – it’s truly hilarious.
• I’ve been eating a grapefruit every morning when I get to work – not only do I think grapefruits are delicious, but they are the prettiest combination of colors – peachy-pink insides, a tiny rim of white (in the rind) and brilliant yellow outsides. You know I am happy about spring when I am describing how pretty grapefruit is! :)
