If I had any glamourous Christmas parties to go to, this is the eye look I'd be rocking. I wore my Collection 2000 glitter liner to work yesterday, and in the evening got to thinking about what else I could do with it.

The look on the right is a light application of MAC Deep Truth eyeshadow (a shimmery deep blue), with a coat of Collection 2000 glitter liner in Hustle (silvery gel with silver/multi glitter) over the top. A coupla coats of mascara (or falsies, for extra drama), some white liner in the corner, and black kohl to waterline and tightline, and the effect is pretty intense, but not over the top (in my glitter-infused world, at least).

This looks quite subtle with the eye open (mostly thanks to my hooded lids) but the full glitter effect can be seen with the eye shut. Another bonus is that this only takes a couple of minutes to do; no complex blending involved, and only one shadow.

The Collection 2000 liner really is budge-proof and won't flake, so no ending up with glitter under the eye or all over the cheekbone. Well, until you take it off, which is another matter, glitter liners being a bugger to completely eliminate.

Since my last Collection 2000 foray, Glam Crystal Liner, turned out to be so damn good, I decided that I'd buy another one. As I chose my new colour I noticed another liner product in some lovely looking colours. Glam Metallics Coloured Liquid Eyeliner purports to be a metallic, water resistant liquid liner, and comes in 6 jewel toned shades. I picked up Ripped, a metallic purple.

Unfortunately I was disappointed by the product itself; while the glitter liner gives opaque coverage after two coats, this one definitely doesn't - the liner itself is slightly watery and after two coats the colour was still too sheer for my liking. It did have a slight metallic sheen, but without the depth of colour behind it, the overall effect was a bit meh.

I picked up one of Collection 2000's glitter eyeliners recently while shopping at Tesco - mostly because I was attracted by the highly sparkly purple shade just calling me from the display. And man, am I glad I did!

I absolutely adore anything with glitter in it, and as a result I have a few different glitter eyeliners which unfortunately don't really get used that often. The ones I've tried in the past have always been slightly flaky, fairly sparsely glittery, and generally a bit of a waste of time.

But not this one, oh no. The glitter is pretty dense, and two coats applied thinly along my upper lashline gave me a fully opaque, beautifully glittery line of colour. Not only was the colour and application fantastic ; it also lasted all day without flaking, smudging or budging. And at only £2.93 each, I'll definitely be buying a few more - especially as this is the first product in some time that has had people asking what I'm wearing, because it looks great!

Superdrug is full of surprises right now. Not only are there two new Sleek palettes out this week - Sunset (permanent) and Graphite (Limited Edition) - there's also a new C2000 release in the form of two new palettes, Poptastic and Angelic.

Poptastic is full of bright colours in a range of matte and shimmer shades, while Angelic is more pastel toned. Each one costs just £2.93. This is probably the lowest priced palette I have ever seen. Apart from maybe the ones you see in 99p shops and the ones at car boot sales with yellowing sponge applicators stacked next to the 5-for-99p lighters.

9 colours for £2.93. It seems a little too good to be true. But after discovering the wonderful Lasting Perfection Concealer, which is now a daily staple for me, anything C2000 puts out now gets my full attention. I purchased the Poptastic palette and got to swatching.

As you can see below, payoff is not bad at all - this is on dry skin with no primer. Some of the mattes could be stronger, but overall I'm hugely impressed!
