Since the beginning of the wedding planning process I have always loved the idea of serving a signature drink at our reception. Of course, I wasn’t so sure what those drinks would be, but I knew they had to be delicious, and most likely pretty girly. I figure there won’t be too many guys wanting to walk around the cocktail hour with martini glasses, but then again, who knows – if they want to participate in the “special” drinks they certainly can!
So without further ado, here are our signature drinks! My lovely day-of-coordinator actually suggested these and I am more than on board!
Our first signature cocktail will be “The Wedding Cake Martini.” This drink is made with vanilla vodka, pineapple juice, sweet and sour mix, and the glass is then rimmed with sugar – Yum!
The second signature cocktail is SUPER fun and even includes one of our “colors” which of course, is pink! The second cocktail will be the “Cotton Candy Cosmo”. This drink is made with vodka, lime juice, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, and garnished with a little puff of petal pink cotton candy! Delicious :) My mom and sister actually made a mad dash around our
hometown trying to find pre-made pink cotton candy. After searching many different stores (which I could’ve sworn would have had it) they finally found the sweet treat! Thanks Mom & C! :)
