The Champs!

This weekend was so much fun!! M. & I had such a great time with my parents!! On Friday night we shared a delicious dinner & had the chance to catch up on each other's lives.

On Saturday we traveled to Virginia to watch my sister's college soccer team play in their conference championship game. They played both halves and it was 0-0 so they had to go into the overtime rounds. No one scored in the first overtime and then no one scored in the second overtime so the teams had to go into penalty kicks. This is of course CRAZY nerve wracking!!! Both teams really played amazingly, but in the end my sisters team won the game!!!! :)

The game was seriously the best I have seen & M. was impressed too! I loved seeing the girls win & now we're excited to see them play in the NCAA tournament (because they won their conference they received an automatic bid to the tournament). I hope that next week they play as well as they did yesterday! :)

When we rode to the game I rode with my mom so that we could talk about a lot of wedding details. We finalized many things -- from our engagement party in January to what my bridesmaids and me will be doing on the day of the wedding rehearsal to which thank-you notes I will be using for which events! It was great getting some deatils down on paper for the different events!! I will certainly fill you all in very soon!

Overall we had a wonderful weekend (plus the weather was absolutely amazing -- do you see the beautiful colors of the fall leaves in the pictures from my sister's soccer game?!?!) & I hope that you did too! :)
