How's the packing coming?!

How's the packing coming?! Where are those pictures of the new apartment that I promised you?! Well, let me just say...who knew packing took SO MUCH energy & SO MUCH time!!! I figured that it would be a relatively quick process -- oh, no no -- this is ridiculous!

I've packed up MOST of the decorating accessories for the apartment (picture frames, books, candles, vases...stuff like this), but I haven't even gotten started on my closet. ? take the previous statement back -- I did start on my Fall/Winter shoe collection. Sometimes I look in my closet & think -- "The amount of clothing/shoes/jewelery/purses you have is SICK" -- well, this thought went through my mind as I stacked up the BOXES upon boxes packed full of my fall & winter shoes. The picture to the left is my F/W shoe collection NOT including the majority of my boot collection. At least I brought three huge bags of clothing to Goodwill yesterday...right?!

As for the pictures of the apartment...those are going to have to come a little bit later...maybe tomorrow if I'm really on top of things. I am more excited to show you the finished product after it is all decorated & pretty! Poor M. is going to have to deal with my decorating side!

I hope that everyone has been having a fabulous week. Tomorrow M. has to take the MPRE at Wake Forest University. He sold his car a few days ago because of the move to DC. This means we only have my little car to use -- a big shock for M.! After his exam tomorrow I am going to pick him up & we're going to visit his parents in TN for the weekend. It will be a nice getaway & I look forward to spending time with my future parents-in-law since I haven't visited with them in a while.
