I more-or-less randomly poured coloured glitter from a B Never Christmas set into the bottle, gave it a damn good shake, and slapped it on my nails.
The result is a very densely packed, ultra glittery finish which, due to the fineness of the glitter I used, isn't particularly bumpy after a coat of Seche Vite. Two coats gave me an opaque glitter look.
I learned a few things along the way:
- Using old topcoat / clear polish will make a polish with terrible, clumpy application unless you thin it out
- A clear base with those little ball bearings in will mix more easily than a base without
- Glitter gets everywhere on your desk if you are slightly shaky of hand
