It rained on our engagement shoot day, but M. & I decided we would tough it out & hope for either the rain to stop or for only a light drizzle. We got lucky & it stopped raining about 30 minutes before our pictures.
We started the shoot at the country club where our reception will be held & then moved to a family friend's house which was just down the road.
My mom found us a FABULOUS vintage bike which we borrowed from a local bike shop. It was BEAUTIFUL. The bike shop owner added an adorable wicker basket which we then filled with a pretty bouquet of fresh blooms. Abigail added the adorable vintage-y inspired "Mr. & Mrs." signs to the handle bars -- too cute!
If you're not familiar with the story of how M. & I met, I will give you the short explanation -- we met at a doubles tennis tournament where we ended up playing each other in the final round! We used a vintage tennis racket that my mom gave to my dad years ago as a great prop for my engagement ring shot! I think it turned out awesome! :)
Finally, we broke out the umbrella...obviously! I think it was the perfect addition to our pictures!
Abigail used a vintage filter on a few of the pictures & I think it turned out really cool! Now I just have to wait to see the rest of the images! :)
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!
