What I’ll Be Wearing: Bridal Luncheon

I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned it on my blog before, but the Friday before the wedding is going to be a jam packed day of fun “pre-wedding” events! The morning will be occupied with “Breakfast with the Bride” hosted by two of my mom’s good friends and manicures for all of my favorite girls at a local nail bar with an actual “bar” where we will all be able to sit for our manicures while chatting!

In the afternoon another one of my mom’s good friends (and one of my favorites!) will be hosting a bridal luncheon at her home. I love that I will have a lot of time to spend with my girlfriends before the wedding because I know come rehearsal dinner time and throughout the wedding day, all I’ll want to do is be with M.!

Obviously I needed something special to wear for the luncheon! I had spotted this BCBG dress on sale on Saks.com a few months back and absolutely loved it. Well, my mom must have been on my same wavelength because the weekend after I noticed the adorable, white dress she called me and told me she had bought me “a fabulous BCBG dress on sale at Saks” – turns out it was the same dress! :)

I L.O.V.E this dress and I think it’s the PERFECT thing to wear for the bridal luncheon! First – I love that it’s white – what the bride should be wearing! Second – I love the detailing at the neckline – an interesting shape accented with just the right amount of black beading! I’m thinking I’ll wear my hair in a French twist to keep everything streamlined and “Audrey-esque”.

On the list for this evening is figuring out my shoe and jewelry situation for this adorable frock…among the 50 million other things I need to finish/work on!!
